Sending declarations
There are several ways of connecting to the ItellaTYVI service depending on the needs of the declarant.
The connections available are:
- Internet connection
- Data file connection
- Software connection
- EDI connection
Internet connection
The most common way of sending a TYVI-declaration is to use the web interface and the forms within the service. The web interface is suitable for reasonably small declarants and numbers of declarations.
To use the service only a web connection and a service agreement are needed. Get to know the alternative user IDs.
Data file connection
In the ItellaTYVI Service, declarations can also be sent as a specified data file. Many software applications make it is possible to produce ready declarations as separate data files.
The data file connection is suitable for medium to large declarants that have no software integrated into the service.
Software connection
A declarant can use his or her own familiar software, in which case a separate transfer to the Internet service is unnecessary.
The software connection is intended for medium to large as well as large parties that have software integrated into the service. Ask your own software supplier for more information. Declarations that require KATSO-identification should be sent using the internet service. KATSO-identification is required for declarations that are sent to Finnish Tax Administration.
EDI connection
The EDI connection is suitable for large volumes and for the requirements of large declarant companies.
By using the connection, declarants can send their declarations directly by using their own financial administration or process management system. Declarations that require KATSO-identification cannot be sent using EDI connection. KATSO-identification is required for declarations that are sent to Finnish Tax Administration.
